Nomex Sewing Thread

Nomex sewing thread, made from Nomex fiber, offers several advantages that make it ideal for applications requiring high heat and flame resistance.

Meta-aramid fibers are known for their heat and flame resistance, and two well-known brands produce these fibers. Here are two prominent brands for meta-aramid fibers:

1. Nomex® (DuPont)

• Description: Nomex is one of the most well-known brands of meta-aramid fibers. It is widely used in firefighting apparel, military uniforms, industrial workwear, and various high-temperature applications.
• Key Features: Excellent thermal and flame resistance, high durability, and good chemical resistance.

2. Conex® (Teijin)

• Description: Conex is a brand of meta-aramid fiber produced by Teijin. It is used in applications requiring flame resistance, such as protective clothing, filtration, and automotive components.
